Description

This item is an authentic Pattern 1924 bayonet, a staple of the Polish Army's equipment during the interwar period, manufactured by the Perkun Motor Factory in Warsaw.
The single-edged steel blade features longitudinal fullers and exhibits a rough, pitted surface texture with a dark natural patina, reflecting its long history and untouched condition.
The ricasso is clearly stamped with the national W.P. (Wojsko Polskie) abbreviation and the official crowned eagle emblem of the Second Polish Republic.
The hilt retains its original walnut wood grip scales, showing genuine signs of field use, securely attached to the tang by two steel bolts.
The pommel features a crisp and deep "WZ. 24." model designation stamp, with the Mauser-style locking mechanism intact.
The original steel scabbard is functional and clear of obstructions but lacks its original khaki paint finish, showing minor dents and signs of historical wear across its surface.
Unique military serial numbers (including 131068) and technical inspection marks (S in a square) are visible on the crossguard and blade.
The overall set presents a raw, uncleaned "attic find" aesthetic, highly sought after by collectors seeking pieces with original historical integrity and no modern restoration.
