Original German SA (Sturmabteilung) Sports Badge in bronze grade. This is the scarce and highly collectible Type I variant, distinguished by its specific early-issue markings on the reverse. Die-struck in metal with a bronze finish, the obverse shows a vertical sword over a swastika within an oak leaf wreath. The reverse features the embossed manufacturer's mark: E. SCHNEIDER / LÜDENSCHEID and the ownership inscription: EIGENTUM D. S.A. SPORTABZEICHEN HAUPTSTELLE. In the lower section of the wreath, an individual serial number is stamped: 878488. It is equipped with a vertical safety pin mounted on a sturdy hinge, which is fully functional. The badge exhibits a natural dark patina and minor signs of oxidation, confirming its historical authenticity.
