An exceptional example of an early Hitler Youth membership knife, manufactured by the renowned J.A. Henckels Solingen (Zwilling).
The obverse of the blade features a clearly preserved, etched organizational motto: "Blut und Ehre!" (Blood and Honor) in decorative script, a hallmark of high-quality production runs prior to 1938.
The reverse of the blade bears the complete factory trademark (twins logo and Zwillingswerk name) along with the GES. GESCHÜTZT designation, confirming its early provenance.
The single-edged blade retains its original profile, showing a natural aged patina and authentic signs of period use.
The hilt, featuring an intact enameled HJ diamond and characteristic black grips, combined with the etched motto, creates a complete and highly desirable collector's piece.
The combination of a prestigious manufacturer (Henckels) and the preserved blade motto makes this specimen a rare find in the Third Reich edged weapons market.
This item is a superb testament to Solingen craftsmanship and a significant historical artifact from the interwar period.
