SA Kepi – Gruppe Ostmark/Oder – Pink Top – Original

An authentic German SA (Sturmabteilung) kepi, a primary headgear of the NSDAP paramilitary wing. The cap is constructed from light brown cotton drill (summer weight). The upper band is finished in pink cloth, which, according to the territorial color coding system established in 1933, identifies this piece as belonging to Gruppe Ostmark or Gruppe Oder. The front features a metal SA eagle insignia and a single gold-toned pebbled button. The cap is fitted with its original leather chin strap secured by side buttons and metal ventilation eyelets. The item shows natural signs of wear, slight fabric discoloration, and patina on the metal parts, all consistent with its age and historical use.

The "Coffee Can" style kepi was the signature headgear of the stormtroopers. The introduction of colored side panels allowed for the immediate identification of the wearer’s regional assignment within the national SA structure.
