Description

An authentic SA (Sturmabteilung) service dagger, Model 1933, from the period of RZM-supervised production.
The blade ricasso features a clear, etched RZM circle logo and the numerical code M7/37, assigned to the famous Robert Klaas workshop in Solingen.
The steel blade maintains its classic profile, exhibiting historical wear and natural patina that confirm its period authenticity.
The grip is made of contoured wood with a warm finish, featuring a precisely inlaid SA rondel and the national eagle emblem.
The bright metal crossguard and pommel are well-fitted to the wooden grip and the scabbard throat.
Complete with its original brown-finished steel scabbard with ball-tip fitting and the associated leather hanger.

Historical Context:
The implementation of the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) system was designed to standardize the quality of party equipment. The code M7/37 identifies the firm of Robert Klaas—famously known for their "kissing cranes" logo—as an official supplier. Daggers from the later production period (post-1935), marked solely with RZM codes, reflect the state's total control over the Solingen cutlery industry. Pieces from renowned makers like Klaas are highly valued for their assembly precision and material durability.
