Markings: The arms of the cross feature embossed letters "P", "O", "W", and the date "1918". The center displays an ornamental "JP" monogram (Jozef Pilsudski).
Reverse: Smooth finish, equipped with a centrally located threaded mounting post.
Nut: Original convex brass nut, featuring two characteristic "wings" for easier tightening.
Physical Features: Made of silvered brass.

The Polish Military Organization (POW), founded in 1914 by Jozef Pilsudski, was a secret structure fighting for Polish independence. The commemorative badge was established in November 1918 and was awarded to POW members in recognition of their service in the underground struggle. These miniatures were worn on civilian clothing as a token of pride in belonging to this elite organization.
