Description

An authentic numbered miniature badge of the Women's Military Training (PWK), representing a fine example of Polish interwar phaleristics. This specimen holds significant collector value due to its unique award number.

External Appearance: The badge is shaped like a stylized shield. Its upper part displays a cutout motif featuring a crowned eagle resting on an Amazon shield.
Reverse: Smooth finish, clearly showing a stamped award number in the lower section: 2251.
Mounting: Centrally located threaded mounting post with its original, plain brass nut.
Physical Features: Die-stamped from brass.
Condition: Excellent collector's condition. The metal is covered with a fine natural aged patina. The thread is functional, and the award number is sharp and clearly legible. No mechanical damage visible.

The Women's Military Training (PWK) organization was established in 1928 to prepare women for auxiliary wartime services. Members were trained in communications, medical aid, and anti-aircraft defense. Numbered badges and their miniatures were awarded to specific individuals upon completion of required training stages, allowing for identification and emphasizing the elite status of the organization's members during the Second Polish Republic.
