SA Lüneburg Badge 1933 – Turn- u. Wehr-Sporttreffen – Standarte 16

Original German commemorative badge (tinnie) issued for the Gymnastics and Defense Sports Meeting (Turn- u. Wehr-Sporttreffen) held in 1933 in Lüneburg.
The design features a shield enclosed within an oak leaf wreath. The top section bears the inscription: "TURN- u. WEHR- SPORTTREFFEN LÜNEBURG."
The lower section showcases a shooting target overlaid with the SA organizational symbol and unit identification: "STANDARTE 16" along with the date "1933."
Stylized "FF" letters are visible above and below the SA logo, referring to the traditional gymnastics motto (Frisch, Fromm, Fröhlich, Frei).
Struck from brass-toned metal, the badge exhibits sharp detailing and a well-preserved surface with a natural, even patina.
Events of this kind were among the first organized after the 1933 takeover, aimed at consolidating SA structures and increasing the combat readiness of territorial regiments.
