The front features the standard army eagle with downward wings clutching a swastika, enclosed by an oak leaf wreath and the traditional motto "GOTT MIT UNS" (God with us) over a textured, pebbled field. The buckle is stamped from lightweight aluminum and displays minor service wear alongside an attractive, even patina. The reverse is crisply marked with the maker initials and production year: I.G.&S. 39. Attached to the buckle is its factory-original brown leather tab, featuring a highly legible, oval embossed manufacturer stamp clearly dated 1939.
