Historical Information
The 2nd Kaniowski Sapper Regiment badge was officially approved in 1929. The unit was stationed in Puławy and carried the proud traditions of the 2nd Polish Corps in Russia and the Battle of Kaniów (1918). Officer versions, particularly from the Stanisław Lipczyński workshop in Warsaw, are considered among the most beautiful and prestigious sapper decorations of the Second Polish Republic.
