An original patriotic badge issued to commemorate the anniversary of the May 3rd Constitution. Made of silver, this item is a much rarer variant compared to the common base-metal versions. Physical characteristics:
Material: Silver, covered with an aged, dark patina.
Reverse: Smooth with a slightly grainy metal texture. Stamped markings at the bottom: maker's mark "FxS" and official silver hallmark.
Condition: Very good, structurally sound without deformations. The silver hallmarks and maker's signature are faint and poorly legible (partially worn), which is a natural result of age and the striking process.
Fastening System: Sturdy horizontal pin mounted on a hinge. The mechanism is complete and fully functional.
These badges, particularly those crafted from precious metals, were an expression of deep patriotism and commitment to the tradition of the May 3rd Constitution during the Second Polish Republic. The "FxS" signature indicates a renowned craft workshop of the era, known for producing high-quality patriotic jewelry and awards
