Silver Mother's Cross – Original Suspension Ribbon – 1938

Authentic German Cross of Honour of the German Mother (Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter) 2nd Class in Silver. The obverse is decorated with blue and white enameling, centering a black swastika on a white background encircled by the Gothic script inscription: DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER. One of the side cross arms shows some period discoloration on the white enamel field. The reverse is finished in silver plating with a distinct dark aged patina, showcasing the clearly struck institution date 16. Dezember 1938 along with Adolf Hitler's facsimile signature. The medal is complete with its genuine full-length blue and white striped silk suspension neck ribbon, which shows typical period fraying at the loose ends. The overall condition remains historically solid with great visual appeal.
