Original German Honour Cross of the German Mother (Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter) 1st Class in Gold. The obverse features immaculately preserved blue and white enamel detailing, with a central swastika on a white circular shield surrounded by the gilded inscription "DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER". Beautifully struck gilded metal rays extend between the crossarms. The smooth reverse displays the embossed institution date "16. Dezember 1938" alongside the facsimile signature of Adolf Hitler. The award includes its authentic, full-length blue and white striped ribbon, which remains in very good condition. It is housed in its original dark presentation case featuring a gilded cross emblem on the lid, showing honest period wear, edge scuffs, and a minor historical stain on the inner lid lining. The satin lining of the inner lid bears the clear printed manufacturer's mark: FORSTER & GRAF SCHWÄB. GMÜND. This is a fine, textbook example of a complete historical award set.
